Who we are

Vaškai Biomethane is a company that transforms cow manure into renewable energy in the form of green gas. The biogas facility, located in Lithuania, Vaškai district, started operations in the spring of 2025. The facility will process more than 350,000 tons of cow manure (solid and slurry) per year and will produce up to 80 GWh biomethane. Our mission is to accelerate the world’s clean energy transition by transforming cow manure into renewable green gas.

What we do

At Vaškai Biomethane, we own and operate an advanced biomethane production plant. With biomethane production at its core, we transform cow manure sourced from local farmers into renewable, clean green gas, providing a sustainable alternative to conventional energy sources. As a result, our biomethane production significantly reduces CO₂ emissions compared to fossil-based natural gas.
